While Melbourne and Sydney has been on a dumpling craze for the past few years, it is yet to catch on in Brisbane – well, that was before The Brunswick Social popped up. In the basement of the former Sun newspaper building in Fortitude Valley, this 150-seater restaurant serves authentic dumplings in a relaxed, social milieu.

I thought it was great! The food was good, fresh & tasty. Service was good & very friendly. Relaxed vibe. The music is loud which I don't mind but if loud music bothers you maybe this place isn't your scene. I thought the food was reasonably priced too.review  03/09/2012

Sad Dumplings:

Honestly, such a rip off. Some of the soggiest dumplings I have ever had and (tasted as though they had been reheated after being frozen). Rude staff.review  29/09/2011
