Kelvin Grove Urban Village is budding, and one blossoming establishment is chic restaurant and cocktail bar St Jeromes, offering a casual, refreshing dining experience with friendly service. Opened in 2008, this tastefully designed space is located in the centre of the Urban Village; its raw interior, elegant wallpaper and earth-toned furnishings creating a relaxing environment. The menu is very reasonably priced yet still offers innovative and interesting dishes.

A taste plate menu boasts salt and pepper squid, and pumpkin risotto with seared local scallops, alongside char-grilled marinated vegetables, warm bread, confit duck spring rolls and rosemary roasted potatoes. While the main menu is served from noon until evening, a worker's lunch is ideal for anyone wanting a lighter meal. Breakfast is served daily, great coffee is also a definite plus, and on weekends a breakfast platter keeps guests entertained and content. The restaurant, the food and the drinks menu have all been designed with sharing in mind and lounges encourage you to invite good friends to join you. With a pitcher of one of St Jeromes' delicious cocktails and some scrumptious sharing plates, you certainly have your afternoon come evening planned.
