Where there was once a roundabout but now your standard traffic lights, sits the Roundabout Cafe. Open for breakfast and lunch, this cute little eatery offers indoor and outdoor seating in bright surrounds. The interior is painted a vibrant purple and the display cabinet is overloaded with fresh salads, quiches and lasagnes. The menu board offers a wide variety of specials and gourmet sandwiches on speciality breads. Try “Martin’s Choice” of marinated lamb, grilled haloumi, tomato, lettuce and Tzatziki on Turkish bread. Freshly made kebabs and daily hot food specials, such as pasta and lasagne, are also offered.

The focus is definitely on the healthy side with freshly squeezed juices and the option to create your own blend from seasonal fruits as well as orange, apple, pineapple, carrot, celery, tomato or beetroot. The Roundabout is often frequented by West End locals for their weekend breakfasts, which are large and very good value. Try the Big Breakfast with chipolatas, bacon, eggs, grilled tomato and thick toast with a tea, coffee or orange juice. The Roundabout Stack is also delicious featuring bacon, poached eggs, spinach, mushroom and thick toast, drizzled with hollandaise sauce.
