The restaurant borrows its elegance from fine dining, adding a more casual, approachable feel to the mix, which suits the Albion dining scene to a tee. The smart contemporary interior is generous and unique leaving enough room for an enthusiastic crowd. A miscellany of art pieces, a length of bar and an open kitchen ensure the space is wisely occupied and create a fantastic dining atmosphere.

In the kitchen Marca masters the ideal elements of Italian cooking by maintaining simplicity and flavour in its dishes. The menu is fluid and appealing, offering captivating specials on any given night. The “of the days” such as homemade risottos and scaloppini keep things exciting, accentuating what’s freshest and in season. Also worthy of your attention is an oven-baked parcel of barramundi poached in tomato and onion with olives and fresh herbs. Alternatively try freshly-made mini penne with salmon and a lovely creamy tomato sauce. Like a superior vintage, the wine list has matured over time and entertains a thoughtful selection. Desserts are traditional Italian delights such as profiteroles or “baba’ al lemoncello” served with a creamy rich affogato.
