The restaurant has recently come under new management and has a comprehensive menu with around 77 items. All produce is fresh and sourced locally, and Little Malaysia’s very own Malaysian chefs prepare the different sauces for each meal on the premises so an authentic taste is ensured.
The decor is quaintly cute with a splash of colour here and there, and while it does freshen the dining room up a touch, the atmosphere isn’t really the restaurant’s forte. So, turn your attention to your bowl and enjoy the flamboyant colours and flavours of your chosen dish. There are vegetarian dishes also available upon request, however, all meat dishes are prepared in the Halal style. Little Malaysia is one of the only restaurants of its kind in the local area that can offer this. Take advantage of the $7.90 lunch special – it’s terrific value and will keep you going well into the evening.
