La Kasbah

This was the worst service from a restaurant I have ever experienced. We booked online more than a day in advanced and called to make sure they were ok, we left a message on their answering machine as we planned a family dinner to celebrate our girls achievements. We received a message back saying to check our email, which of course we did. We had a confirmed booking and didn't consider any more. Then on Saturday we get a message on voicemail saying we must call before we come. This was 5pm for a 7pm booking – we called back and this rude person says we can not come as they are fully booked and he cancelled our reservation. We had arranged our family dinner for this night with four of us so the young teenage kids were hugely disappointed. I tried to suggest to the proprietor that we had a valid booking and we wanted to try his restaurant, but all he could say, was that we call back after 7.30pm and MAYBE he will see if we can fit us in after 8pm. So he was not interested in confirming a later appointment (not that that would have meant much by the looks of it) and to top it off he suggested this was my fault. 18/07/2011

I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DINE AT LA KASBAH RESTAURANT WITH A GROUP OF 10 PEOPLE AND UNTIL NOW WE STILL HAVE THE TASTE OF THE FOOD IN OUR MOUTHS. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL TIME WE HAD!!! THE DECO IS GREAT ,THE AMBIANCE VERY COSY AND THE OWNER IS A REAL SOUL .AS A MATTER OF FACT MY FRIENDS AND I DID REALIZE THAT PEOPLE WORKING AT LA KASBAH ARE REALLY DOING THEIR BEST TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY,SATISFY AND HOME.IT'S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO DISCOVER ANOTHER CULTURE THRU FOOD . THIS IS A GREAT DEAL BECAUSE WHEN YOU EAT AT LA KASBAH YOU REALLY DO HAVE AN EXTRAORDINNARY TIME THAT'S THE REASON WHY YOU GO OUT DINING TO GET TO DIFFERENT KIND OF CUISINE.I HAVE NOT BEEN AS SATISFIED AS I 'VE BEEN THERE. THE FOOD IS WONDERFULL,WHEN YOU TASTE IT YOU LOVE IT AND YOU APPRECIATE IT. YOU FEEL THE HEART AND THE SOUL OUT OF THIS CUISINE MADE OUT OF LOVE.THIS IS AMAZING FOOD AND I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.(BY THE WAY IT'S WORTH THE MONEY:I AM SURPRISED IT WAS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE). MY FRIENDS AND I ARE DEFINITELY GOING BACK THERE AND WE SURE WILL PUT LA KASBAH RESTAURANT ON THE "A" LIST. GO AND ENJOY! 24/01/2010

Recently my family and I enjoyed dining at La Kasbah. The decor had a strong Eastern influence, along with a few personel items/collectables reflecting some of the personality of the members of this family run business. We were made to feel like VIP's from the moment we walked through the door. The staff offered assistance if required, with our food and wine selection. Four of us dined and we all enjoyed sampling each others selection of, traditional Dips, Escargot, Spicey lamb sausages, Duck a l'orange, Lamb Tajine, Tanisian Tajine and Lamb meatballs. All dishes were delightfully aromatic and flavoursome and while the meat fell off the bone, the vegetables were cooked until just tender. All of us agreed that we had never tasted such delitious lamb. It was with regret that we only left enough room for coffee. We'll defiantly be back again soon to sample more of their menu, this time leaving room for desert. 23/11/2008
