The well-known Drift restaurant that famously drifted away during the hight of the 2011 Brisbane floods has been re-established on dry land as Drift Brookwater. Restaurateur David Moore who watched his life wash away has brought his vibrant yet casual dining and live entertainment to Springfield where Moore’s following will be able to enjoy fun cabaret shows and executive chef Romain Bapst brilliant modern Australian dishes.

We had Christmas lunch at Drift Brookwater and it was fantastic. Extremely well priced, great food and service was out standing. So good was the experience that we returned for New Years Eve. Highly recommended.review 05/01/2012
