So much more than an authentic Chinese restaurant, Cafe China specialises in live seafood and is set amongst a background of colourful aquariums displaying live local Lobsters and Mud Crabs, Tasmanian Abalone and Reef Fish. An impressive number of original paintings by an array of well-known Australian artists reflect a theme of casual tropical Australian beach culture. Multi-lingual staff members are available to translate in Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese, and are on-hand to make suggestions if you have trouble ordering from the diverse selection of Asian delicacies.Cafe China also has a reputation for having one of the best wine lists in northern Queensland.
