Composed of cool, clean lines and very tasteful decor, this frog’s pond dazzles from your very first impression. Blue Frog Wine and Dine is one of the new breed of Brisbane restaurants setting the bar with their style of cuisine and the carefully selected spectrum of flavours gracing the menu.
Chef Benny Loh is renowned for his style of cooking and has trained under some of France’s top chefs. Loh has taken this experience and fused it with his knowledge of Asian cuisine to arrive at a unique and commendable destination.
Begin with an entree of sesame-crumbed seared tuna with wakami seaweed, marinated fennel and wasabi aioli. The terrine of rabbit and duck with haloumi fritters and confit of tomato served with curried mayonnaise and a balsamic reduction is another dish that might take your fancy. The Blue Frog signature dish of fragrant seafood curry swimming with Moreton Bay bugs, mussels, scallops and ocean fish served with aromatic pandan coconut rice has definite wow-factor. Benny Loh might be the powerhouse in the kitchen, but he is backed up by knowledgeable and friendly staff on the floor and a manager who is passionate about your dining experience being memorable. Blue Frog Wine and Dine is as impressive as it is delicious – hop on in and see for yourself.
