When strolling along the boardwalk at main beach gazing out at the ocean, your head will turn when you get to Bistro C. In the late afternoon, you’ll see bikini and board short-clad locals sipping mango daiquiris in the front window and stylish Melbournian women in white resort wear sharing a bottle of Australian Sauvignon Blanc. The staff have worked here for years and wear a perpetual smile.

The energetic seafood studded menu features an abundance of fantastically light, fresh modern Australian cuisine ideal for beachside dining. You'll find it difficult choosing between the a la carte menu and the blackboard specials. One thing's for sure, the Bistro C famous egg fried calamari is the best in town. We followed it up with the baby bocconcini, pine nuts, mushrooms, roasted capsicum & rocket leaves tossed with linguini & basil oil and shared a sticky fig pudding with butterscotch sauce.
FUNCTIONS/WEDDINGS
Contemporary beachside weddings are a specialty and Bistro C and the staff have been showered with letters of thanks and praise from happy couples and their guests.
