Brad and Angelica Jolly have created an exquisite experience with a restaurant where the chemistry is perfect. Overlooking the Brisbane River with a view of the Story Bridge, Alchemy has a unique ambience that oozes class and a touch of mystique. Polished wood floorboards, red Murano glass chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows set a perfect backdrop for the meal to come. Brad Jolly’s background in the culinary arena is impressive, turning heads at an early age when he won a number of prized awards. He has worked alongside and learned from greats such as Jamie Oliver and Marco Pierre White, making the unique and creative dishes at Alchemy of a very high standard.

FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS
The private dining room at Alchemy is one of the best private dining rooms in Brisbane. Here you can hold a sit down lunch or dinner for 10 to 40 guests and from 50 to 80 guests for a cocktail event. This room is perfect for product launches, special event, board room lunch or dinner.

I dined at Alchemy on Mon 16 Aug 2010. The view is sensational..........the atmosphere really warm yet modern. I actually hadn't heard anything exciting about this restaurant but fortunately I am a person that prefers to make up my own mind! The food was divine - great portion sizes for the price and seriously creative and well executed meals. Thanks Alchemy - we will be back and we will recommend you enthusiastically! review 18/08/2010

Welcome to one of the best restaurants in Brisbane. We have eaten here many times and have never tired of the food, service, location, in fact the whole package. There is no point in attempting to suggest food, just turn up and pick what you like from the menu. Everything is outstanding and borders on close to perfection. I have to say right up front that Alchemy is almost the complete package. So often the problem with a great restaurant is that something lets it down. Whether it be the location, the wine list, the seating, the service, some aspects of the meal, or any other little piece of the puzzle that goes to making the experience, Alchemy has it all covered. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world and Alchemy compares with the best. The real added touch is not the inventive food, or the choice of produce - although these really do make a BIG difference, it is the service. The staff are professional. They are not students, or 'travellers' doing a good job in a great restaurant, they are professionals. They know what they are doing, they respond to individual customers as individuals, they know how to serve wine, how to serve food, they understand the food and what the ingredients are. Overall they make the food and location all the better. I cannot but highly recommend Alchemy for any occasion. It is not cheap, yet if you want cheap then you wouldn’t go here in the first place, so just forget the price, go out, have a great night and you wont regret it.
