1889 Enoteca on Logan Road, Woolloongabba, officially cements this strip as a dining mecca. This is pared back Italian food at its best, devoid of airs and graces; just good food, good wine – actually make that really good wine – and knowledgeable staff. There is an ambience of laid-back sophistication as equal attention is given to the sleek fit out, the bar, the menu, the wine store and the beautiful cellar which brings an old world “Italia” charm to the experience.
