It’s marvellous what can be achieved when you demolish a few walls and move the management’s suite of offices. By opening up the area and installing floor to ceiling windows, as well as adding a patio area next to the pool, the hotel has created a stylish yet casual dining venue for guests and visitors alike. Cool terracotta colours and simple decor add to the relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast as well as a la carte lunch and dinner menus.

An in-house bakery produces delicious breads, pasties, cakes, and desserts that will tempt even the most discerning diner. The lunch and dinner menus are modest but offer a compelling variety to suit most tastes. Entrees include a traditional antipasto selection and an outback skewer plate that includes crocodile, emu, and kangaroo served with a trio of chutneys. There are also risotto and pasta dishes along with a variety of exotic salads including the Sirocco special of smoked salmon with cherry tomatoes, green beans, red onions, and mango vinaigrette. Mains include local barramundi and quality steaks as well as a selection of gourmet pizzas. The wine selection is limited but well chosen to suit the Mediterranean flavours.
