PROFILED BY DE GROOTS MEDIAOffering reliable cafe fare and good coffee in Parap Village, an area that seems to have downsized in terms of dining options, the cutely-named Paraparazzi is an essential pit stop for the pre-work crowd. It’s a bright and cheery spot in blue and green with a comfy pinstriped couch for lounging with the morning paper, a cappuccino and hot buttered raisin toast. The theme of the venue, as the name suggests, is celeb snapshots and there are some great black and white photographs of movie and music stars on the walls including one of our Russ at his best, and another of darling Kylie.
Breakfast is on all day with hearty fare ranging from eggs benedict piled with ham and hollandaise or seasonal fresh fruit with yoghurt. Focaccias are the speciality with some great filling combinations like roasted kumera, capsicum, eggplant, zucchini, tomato and crumbled fetta. Check the specials board for the soup and pasta of the day and yummy cakes like banana and pineapple. For a snack to share, the trio of dips with pita bread or the nachos are hard to beat.
