My Cafe offers time-out from your shopping spree. Located in the spacious foyer of Darwin city mall’s premier shopping centre, The Galleria, it has comfy couches and tables in full air-conditioning with a pleasant view of the mall. An alfresco section with shady umbrellas takes advantage of the mall’s fresh air and bustling atmosphere. Smith Street Mall is a must-see for visitors to the Top End and a great source of souvenirs, but you’ll need sustenance. So take a browse through The Galleria’s jewellery, fashion, books and gifts and then settle for a refreshing drink or tasty meal at My Cafe.

My Cafe offers straightforward cafe fare. Brekkie includes delicious options like the sizable “Territorian”: steak, egg, bacon, onion, tomato and toast. Gourmet sandwiches are available until 3.30pm with mix ‘n’ match breads and fillings. Foccaccias, Turkish breads, pitas, salads and open-grill fingers make yummy snacks. And there’s also a tempting display of cakes and sweet biscuits. Thirsty? Check out the wine and beer list or settle for a Vittoria coffee.
