Evoo’s repute as one of Darwin’s premier dining venues is well-earned. The restaurant is located within Skycity Casino, on the first floor which overlooks Fannie Bay and Mindil Beach. Elegant and with a tranquil ambience, Evoo serves fine modern Australian cuisine from its regularly changing menu. Deriving its name from the initials of “extra virgin olive oil”, the restaurant aims for its moniker to symbolise quality and excellence.

Fresh bread with a dipping dish of extra virgin olive oil helps to whet appetites as you read the menu and extensive wine list. Evoo uses fresh seasonal and local produce, including local seafoods, to present wonderful mains like the black truffle risotto with almond crusted king oyster mushrooms, fresh herbs and Persian fetta and free-range cornfed chicken breast tenderly pan-fried with a sweet potato souffle. Vegetables are cooked to perfection and the desserts are works of art. The fresh passionfruit creme brulee is stunning, with garnishes of white chocolate foam, crimson strawberries, and tiny rosewater jellies, each containing a sparkle of real gold leaf.
