Before blowing all your pennies on homeware, it is worth commencing your day with a piquant espresso and a big breakfast – a Bellissimo big breakfast, that is. Located in the centre of the Homemaker Village, Cafe Bellissimo is modestly tagged as “a little taste of Italy” but there is nothing little about the flavour of this food. Opened in late 2007, Cafe Bellissimo is bursting with fabulous food, smiles and satisfied customers. The undisputed super-star when it comes to the dining in this village, Cafe Bellissimo offers a diverse and well-designed menu that is great value for money. While the all day breakfast option caters for late risers, avid shoppers will find relief in the open grills, fresh sandwich bar and Italian influenced salads. Still hungry? Try the traditional hand-made pizzas cooked to order in the stone oven, the large range of pasta and risottos, steaks, burgers, seafood or chef Filomena’s acclaimed home-made tuna mornay.

A blessing in disguise comes in the form of the kids menu, accompanied with pencils and colouring stencils. This should keep your little ones occupied long enough to indulge in the mildly roasted aromatic coffee and tempting gourmet cakes and slices. Finally, finish off your experience with a scoop of Italian gelato for the kids before trekking to the next homeware store.

Have been going to this place for years, and I mean years. Ever since it opened up. Tony and Philo always cheerfully greet you, their staff can't do enough for you and the food, yep, I certainly have to recommend it. Tony makes a pretty good cappuccino too. They open up pretty early and in the Dry, open up the cafe to to cool, al fresco with a twist. Give this cafe a go, bet you that you go back there. get in early tho, as it tends to be popular, especially on the weekend!review  03/02/2013

Sorry, no star on this afternoon. We had lunch on a previous occasion which was lovely and the service was great. However after returning from shopping for some refreshments at 3.30pm it was very different than what we were used too. Best wishes Brigitta V.review  20/10/2011

Recently dined there for lunch with a friend, was pleasantly surprised with such a large menu option and they even had some specials available. We had the Pollo Risotto, open grill - Salsa Chicken. It was fresh, tasty and great value for money. The owners were there, both were friendly and very hospitable, there staff was also very friendly. I must say the selection of cakes were fantastic and not to mention finally a decent place to get a good latte. Well done keep up the good work!!review  18/04/2011
