LOCATIONFive Ways Paddington, an inner suburb of Sydney, ten minutes from the CBD.
PROFILED BY DE GROOTSAfter hearing rumours about the sensational French cuisine at this little restaurant I went on a mission to hunt it down. Only then did I realise that I have walked past its door hundreds of times; the small discreet entry opening out onto bustling Five Ways. The interior is slightly cramped too, and yet it all feels so French that small becomes cosy and enjoyable. There is spacious courtyard seating out the back while in comparison the window seats at the front of the restaurant provide the action that you would expect to soak up on a Parisian boulevard.
