Perched overlooking Shelley Park with glimpses of the beach in sight, The Nuns’ Pool is one of Cronulla’s most elegant and refined dining establishments. A white modern interior with ‘beachy’ trimmings including large glass bowls filled with shells create a relaxed, casual vibe. However, the modern Australian menu, under the direction of Head Chef Toby King is anything but casual. Orecchiette with prawns, garlic, chilli and preserved lemon is punchy and satisfying while an entree of figs, prosciutto, gorgonzola dolce latte and vincotto is quite simply, art on a plate.
