Named after Sydney’s original produce markets, The Corn Exchange Restaurant actually sits where the waterline at Darling Harbour used to lap. The sandstone structure that housed the bustling market activity in the past was pulled apart brick by brick and rebuilt further from the water’s edge early in the 20th century. This heritage listed building has been carefully restored and now forms part of the hotel’s lobby.

Taking inspiration from its historical name, The Corn Exchange Restaurant offers a menu that showcases Australian produce, from the a la carte menu to the sumptuous seafood buffet. Depending on what you prefer, you can choose from the excellent menu of modern Australian entrees and mains or feast from the buffet at your own pace. Renowned as one of the city’s best seafood buffets, The Corn Exchange serves up an ocean-fresh array of delicious dishes, from bugs to oysters, prawns and platters of sushi and sashimi. Finish with cheese or some wicked goodies from the dessert buffet before scooting over the footbridge to Darling Harbour and taking a leisurely stroll.

The Corn Exchange Restaurant, named after one of Sydney’s first fresh produce markets, is home to Sydney’s most sumptuous seafood buffet. Enjoy fresh market seafood, sushi platters, hot dishes, crisp salads, antipasto and desserts. The Corn Exchange also offers an extensive international a la carte menu.Enjoy the delicious seafood buffet or the ever-changing a la carte menu whilst dining al fresco on the terrace, or the informal ambience of the restaurant.

FUNCTIONS
The Meeting Centre features flexible spaces, High Speed Internet Access, data projectors and electronically controlled projection screens. The in-house audiovisual team, Staging Connections, can assist with any tech support you need. Take center stage in the 4,400 square foot Grand Ballroom, which accommodates up to 400 theater-style. The Grand Ballroom includes a large pre-function area ideal for trade displays as well as a dedicated check-in area and a coach arrival and departure terminal.

Located on 15th floor, Boardroom XV offers spectacular views across Darling Harbour and west towards the Blue Mountains from its floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony. The perfect spot if you want to impress during a boardroom meeting, dinner for 14 or a cocktail party for up to 20. Boardroom XV also offers a kitchenette and an adjoining accommodation room.
