Growing up in his parent’s Balmain restaurant Stars at Gigi’s, Gino Soglimbene was bound to open a restaurant of his own. That dream has materialised in Pappardelle Ristorante in Haberfield. Gino's delightful Italian dishes have a unique twist to them that would make his folks proud.

New kid on the block, Pappardelle Ristorante offers fresh tasting rustic pasta dishes. The lovingly made, home-cooked style meals are complimented by friendly wait staff, and the decor is far from demure. This restaurant might remind you of a swank hotel, but the prices are reasonable and you can bet you’ll get your money’s worth. Just ask your belt after desert. Your experience at Pappardelle will seduce you into coming back again and again.review 03/09/2011

Only new and still a secret amongst locals, this vibrant Italian restaurant caught us all by surprise. Had to book to get a table on the weekend but was definitely worth it. The food was really amazing with a variety of dishes — all at reasonable prices. No hassle parking and the staff were very friendly.review 01/06/2011
