The popular north side Sydney restaurant enjoys a premium position over a sandy beach, commanding views directly into Middle Harbour and its yachting life, with its own deck, jetty and resident pelicans. Interiors are deliberately cool and simple to enhance the stunning panorama. It is situated next to the Spit Bridge in Mosman, with ample parking – or you can arrive by water taxi or boat.

LOCATION
Orso is 15 minutes by car from the city centre or 20 minutes by water taxi from Circular Quay. The restaurant has its own jetty where guests can tie up their boats right out the front of the restaurant and when the tide is high can see schools of fish swimming by or a family of wild ducks through full length plate glass windows.

DETAILS
Orso’s ethos is contemporary with an emphasis on seafood. New gun chef Coop Woodstone’s summer menu is stunning. Highlights include a Slow Poached Lobster Tail, Grilled West Australian Scampi and a sumptuous Hot and Cold Seafood Platter. Entrée delights include a Chilled Gazpacho, Summer Salad of Poached King Prawns, a Home made Salmon and Fennel Ravioli, and Orso’s special Antipasto Plate of Summer Treats. The restaurant which comfortably sits 150 people is the ideal setting for weddings and other special occasions. It is available for exclusive use for private functions at specified times and offers ample car parking.
