With a floor to ceiling glass+ frontage which can be opened up in the warmer months, Mmm… Moore is light and bright and is as nice as pie – pizza pie that is. Justyna and Stuart Gordon run this business like a well-oiled machine, but they do it with such amicable flair and seamless effort that every guest is made to feel at home. The restaurant itself is a flexible space with retro bench-like seating, and the tables can easily be rearranged to accommodate two or up to twenty.
The pizza bases are kneaded and stretched to order and come laden with delectable toppings. Stuart uses only the very best ingredients sourcing them from Fratelli Fresh which is the distinguished Italian provedore on Danks Street known for its superiorly fresh produce. To settle your rumblings, pop open your BYO (only $2 per person) and share an olive and parmesan pizza bread. After, twirl your fork through a bowl of fettuccine with chicken, mushroom, thyme and mascarpone or get stuck into a pancetta, ricotta, mushroom, chilli, garlic, lemon and rocket pizza. Gnocchi with prawns, pancetta, peas and parmesan is also a hot option, and make sure you order a bocconcini and tomato salad on the side. Mmm… Moore? Yes please.
