With the walls lined with tasty things to eat, and the aroma of coffee wafting down Danks’ epicurean street, Jones the Grocer lures punters in with many a sense. Visually, this deli-cum-cafe displays Jones’ famed grocery produce while the menu showcases the ingredients, revealing some of the best ways to use the produce. The signature walk-in cheese room tempts any wedge lover from towards the back of the store, while local and imported deli products and bottled gourmet treats are stocked to the rafters elsewhere.

The cafe is light and inviting with bench seating and communal tables that create a sense of amicable intermingling. Come in and sit down with the paper and a cup of the Grocer’s own blend of coffee – the hand-made pistachio nougat goes particularly well with their espresso creations. For something a little heartier, browse the glass window cabinets which burst colourfully with focaccias, pastries, pies and ready-made meals. Otherwise, order a cockle-warming bowl of chicken broth or a fresh pasta dish. Make sure you stock up on some of the mouth-watering goodies so you can continue your own gourmet experience at home.
