DESCRIPTION
Fort Denison Restaurant is a day out which will long linger in your memory, perfectly encapsulating our relaxed Sydney harbour lifestyle. You will feel like you’ve had a holiday even though you’ve only spent 5 minutes on a boat. Open daily for lunch. Due to the heritage nature of the island the restaurant is located in a weather proof clear marquee with minimal impact on the environs. The marquee completely protects against the elements whilst at the same time being outside amongst all the colour and movement of the Harbour. Be warned on a beautiful day with all the sides open and a rising tide you might just catch a wave over the heritage sandstone wall.From September 6th Fort Denison Restaurant will be launching ‘Sundays till Sunset’ for late afternoon lunches with the island closing half an hour after sunset. Sundays will feature a jazz trio to help while away the afternoon. A water taxi shuttle service will operate to and from Fort Denison between Circular & Luna Park. Always remember to bring your sunglasses and hat.

Australia Cheese & Wine Tasting for Corporate Groups
Fort Denison Restaurant and MacIntosh & Bowman are proud to present Australian Cheese & Wine Experiences on Fort Denison. A short course showcasing the best of Australia’s cheese making talents alongside some great Australian wines. It is a fantastic introduction to the local and growing boutique cheese industry. Guests enjoy champagne and canapés upon arrival. Once seated amongst the historic sandstone in Fort Denison’s private dining room guests savour their way through 12 farmhouse cheeses accompanied by 6 boutique Australian wines.

FUNCTIONS
Fort Denison Restaurant is the perfect special occasion destination for birthdays, Christmas parties, and corporate lunches or a special occasion cocktail party on our Sunday afternoons ‘til Sunset.
Function menus are designed with different budgets and occasions in mind and the professional team are dedicated to ensuring your occasion is a seamless and special event. FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Adam Petta has created a relaxed and refined menu incorporating gorgeous fresh produce with a slight Mediterranean slant. Start off your lunch with an exquisite tart of baby leeks and King Prawn sitting atop confit garlic puree with a petite herb salad or perhaps Grilled asparagus, with slightly melted Taleggio and San Daniele prosciutto. For main course Petta has created delicate handmade pumpkin ravioli drizzled with sage butter, roasted pine nuts and house smoked ricotta or a crispy skin Petuna salmon fillet with caponata and herb oil. Desserts are tempting enough to miss your boat for our Warm rich Valhrona chocolate pudding with fresh raspberry ice cream or our Cabernet Sauvignon poached pear and almond tart with cardamom & cinnamon ice cream. Mains are all under $30.
