LOCATIONWithin the Harbourside shopping centre at Darling Harbour near Sydney’s CBD.
DETAILSA fusion of old and new, Dragon Boat’s expansive glass windows with views to the nearby harbour and city skyline are met with intricately carved, dark timber furniture. Traditionally round Chinese-style tables are laid with crisp white cloths and ‘lazy susans’ to encourage the sharing of meals between guests.
FOOD & BEVERAGEDragon Boat’s menu is extensive to say the least, separated into its various types of meat as well as chef’s recommendations, clay pot dishes, vegetarian and banquet options. Entrees include tasty dishes such as lamb brisket spring rolls with garlic, ginger, water chestnut, leek and spinach, plus wok-cooked South Australian lobster that transforms into a fluffy omelette when whipped up with fresh cream and egg whites. Main courses continue the pan-Asian theme, offering items such as lobster sashimi, mud crab with spicy salt and sautéed beef with dried chilli, cashews and snow peas. There’s also the much-loved deep-fried ice cream on offer for dessert, as well as a selection of exotic green teas.
