LOCATION
Nestled on the Hawkesbury River, Berowra Waters Inn is just forty minutes north of Sydney’s CBD and accessible by sea plane from Rose Bay and Palm Beach. Patrons can also reach the Inn by ferry from public wharves at Bay Road or Kirkpatrick Way in Berowra Waters. Alternatively guests are invited to make use of their own boats to reach the Inn, with a private tender service operating from the restaurant’s pier. FOOD & BEVERAGE
Sawyere’s menu for Berowra Waters Inn showcases the Mediterranean and his passion for seafood while using local and organic produce where possible. Guests may select their own degustation menu from a selection of sixteen choices with four, five and six courses available – and more if you like.
DETAILS
Originally designed by renowned Australian architect and environmentalist Glenn Murcutt in 1984, Australian designers Koskela have been given charge of the furniture and interiors for the relaunch. Builders, Ecrave, have worked collaboratively with Koskela to realise their design vision. Surrounded by beautiful undisturbed bushland, Berowra Waters Inn has seating for 40 guests on the lounge deck and 80 guests indoors including a private dining room for 16. The restaurant opens for lunch on Sunday and for dinner on Thursday and lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday.
FUNCTIONS
At any other time during the week, Berowra Waters Inn is available for private events with a capacity for 150 guests.
