Aesop's is the perfect venue for any lively event, from a girls night or a corporate function to a big fat Greek wedding. Colourful murals, the sounds of Greek music and authentic dishes using the freshest local ingredients combine to transport you to a Greek Island. Offering an exciting eclectic Mediterranean menu and a beautiful outlook across to the Botanic Gardens and the Conservatorium of Music, Aesops is a great choice for traditional Greek cuisine. Proprietor, James Gamvros will fill your tummy and then have everyone on their feet grooving to Zorba and music from the 70's through to the latest music.

We recently had our wedding reception at Aesops and I am still completely overwhelmed at the tremendous effort, service, kindness and understanding given to us by James, Tina and all the staff. Not only did James put up with bridezilla emails for 8 months but he helped us execute the most incredible wedding reception ever. My entire family are saying it's the best they'd ever been to. What amazed me most is how by 10am the next morning, the entire restaurant setup was completely cleaned and packed ready for me to collect in tidy boxes. I know we left it in shambles after drinking way to many signature cocktails! The dance floor was perfect, everyone enjoyed the plate smashing and zorbas and the cools kids totally loved hanging out in the mezzanine playing the piano. Our family are not Greek and I do believe anyone should consider Aesops for their wedding venue. Our night was perfect. review 24/07/2012
