Briars Country Lodge and Restaurant was originally built in 1845 and is a fine example of Georgian colonial architecture. Many Sydneysiders will take the drive to the Southern Highlands for a the day to escape the rat race and to enjoy the country air and the warm hospitality.

RESTAURANT
The Bistro is renowned for its fine country food at reasonable prices. The menu features a tantalising range of local fresh steaks, fresh seafood delivered daily from the coast and a choice of country roasts with a wide range of sauces, salads and vegetables to choose from. The rustic main dining room and courtyard are perfect for hosting a long leisurely lunch with friends or the family. Children are well catered for with a play area well in sight.
