Margan Restaurant is a relaxed, stylish restaurant with a focus on simple Mediterranean inspired cuisine. Dine al fresco on the verandah and enjoy the expansive views of the vineyard and Brokenback Range or inside for air-conditioned comfort. The new Margan Winery Complex is simply stunning and the breathtaking views across the vineyards complete the picture.

For the perfect place for your function, choose the restaurant, courtyard, barrel hall, verandah or tasting bar. The tasting bar and barrel hall offer a wonderful winery atmosphere.

Beautitful venue, fabulous food and excellent service. Lots of local produce is used. Lunch was extremely nice with an assortment of tasting dishes. The food portions serves were ample sized which was a pleasant surprise. Everything really fresh and presented beautifuly. Kitchen is open style and on view to restaurant patrons, therefore you can be guaranteed that the cleanliness is of high standards. The aromas from kitchen are just amazing. Although this is bit of drive from the town centre of Cessnock and Pokolbin it was well worth it. Wines a little expensive considering there is a cellar door there, but all wines recommended were excellent. Wait staff extremely helpful, and we are looking forward to returning in the near future. review 21/03/2009
