Gemelle Ristorante Italiano

I've eaten here a few times because its local for me, and the first time i ate here was after work. I had the Spaghetti Al Gamberi with prawns, rockett and sun dried tomatoes. It was really nice. The place is pretty posh and has a dash of elegance in it. The price is what you would pay in the city so it might drive some people away. But I would say its for those who dont want to travel to far for a romantic place to eat and a bit upscale from the local joints around Liverpool. The next few times I came here the food wasnt the same, but I do remember that one stage they were looking to hire a chef which could explain why when I went back the food wasnt the same cause I ordered the same thing. But overall this restaurant is a breathe of fresh air compared to the local takeaway shops around the area, they have a huge selection of food (which is always good)The place does get booked out fairly quickly on the weekends and special occasions like Valentines Day.
