Here, amid simple, clean tables, comfortable, modern chairs and bright lights, lovers of food (and anyone with a decent appetite) make peace with their growling stomachs. Set across a generous, bright, cheery space 220 seats are ever-ready to host enormous feasting sessions. At their helm is a shiny counter which is regularly filled with delicacies from all over the world.

Under the careful watch of Tommy Heong, Bungarribee International Buffet offers its guests a smorgasbord of freshly-prepared international dishes. Roast lovers will find a carvery with tender lamb, pork or beef; seafood fiends can decide between various Australian and Asian fish and fruit-of-the-sea dishes while vegetarians have a range of salads as well as stir-fries to delight in. Sweet tooths won’t be disappointed either, with a decent dessert section catering to their sugary needs. Even smaller people (with deceptively large appetites) are looked after with kid-friendly options and all-you-can-drink soft drinks for under $3. And as an extra international twist, on dinner from Monday to Thursday diners are invited to make their own sushi, while during lunchtime on Saturdays Bungarribee turns into a Yum Cha kingdom. Come before a show, before you try your luck at the pokies or just because (let’s face it) everybody loves a buffet.
