A charming 1910 cottage, a tempting menu of heart-warming meals and an embracing, hospitable feel that encircles the softly-lit tables of the creamy dining room – these are the reasons why No.2 Oak Street, which occupies a quiet street in the picturesque town of Bellingen, is a restaurant celebrated for its finesse and its homey charms.

No. 2 Oak Street has a Chef's Hat and host Toni Urquhart was rightly awarded top NSW Maitre d' award in 2007. At No.2 Oak Street certain dishes just jump off the menu - like the salt cured rabbit loin, crisp proscuitto and red wine vinaigrette crumbed lambs brains with baby capers, caper berries and parsley watercress salad.
