The restaurant stays true to the casual, shoes-off style of Kingscliff, but dishes up top-class food and service to discerning guests. The Fins menu has a strong seafood focus and the chef's expertise with the fresh produce is obvious. Choose from share plates, a la carte or degustation menus - all are sensational.

LOCATION
Just off the Casuarina Way, Fins lies on Bells Boulevard in the heart of Salt Village. It is south of Byron Bay, and about a 20 minute drive from Tweed Heads.

DETAILS
Situated in the chic beachside housing development at Salt, Fins is essentially three places in one; cocktail bar, stylish and spacious restaurant, and posh takeaway.
The décor is modern and sophisticated with tall-backed pearl mico-suede chairs, and marble tables set onto the dark timber patio. The backlit white marble bar with its slender silver stools is the perfect place to sample the tantalizing tapas menu, as you gaze upon the embellished back wall with its elevated wave design. The crisp and fresh interior lines emulate the clean, healthy flavours of Snow’s cuisine.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Steven Snow is a pioneer in the culinary realm, using only local organic produce, line caught fish, and sustainable cooking practices to create fresh and flavorsome cuisine. With a seasonal menu centered on locally sourced seafood, diners may select from delicious spanner crab chowder or a tian of tuna sashimi with tobiko, shiso cress, white miso dressing and fish chips for entrée. For main course, dine on the likes of ‘Snowy’s Fish’ – a pan fried, super fresh snapper doused in a tangy Riesling butter-based sauce with lemon and chopped parsley, on a base of cauliflower puree or try Fins signature Moroccan fish tagine that combines aromatic African spices with herb chermoula, sweet potato, fresh dates and preserved lemon. The dessert selection is equally impressive with a lemon myrtle and finger lime pannacotta, accompanied by a ginger and finer lime syrup, stealing the show. The extensive wine list, with its focus on premium Iberian and cult wines, places a strong emphasis on winemakers that practice sustainable viticulture. Head Sommelier Justin Leith and restaurant manager Morgan Frazer are always on hand to assist with wine selection in order to identify the perfect drop to accompany your meal.

FUNCTIONS
Fins cater for both intimate and large functions. With a standard, premium and luxe event package available, hosts can tailor their selected package to meet specific needs and budgets.
