Located high on the dunes overlooking Byron Bay’s Julian Rocks and with breathtaking panoramic views, the Byron Beach Cafe is a local landmark. After recent renovations, the popular restaurant is now home to a fresh new interior and exciting menus. Whether it's breakfast after a morning swim in the all-day cafe, a catch up with friends for an afternoon drink in the new bar area, a quick takeaway coffee from the park kiosk or a long weekend lunch in the new deck restaurant, the Byron Beach Cafe is perfect for all occasions.

CUISINE
Head chef Paul Wrightson has worked at Hugo’s Sydney, Bennelong Sydney Opera House, FISHFACE Sydney and was also the Production Team Head Chef for MasterChef Australia TV series.

DETAILS
The beautiful interior features warm recycled wood panelled walls crafted from 100 year old Sydney harbour reclaimed piers, bespoke wooden furniture, cooper industrial hanging pendant lights and natural stone bench tops

The original ‘one size fits all’ cafe space has been cleverly crafted into a number of distinctively separate areas to meet a wide range of customer dining expectations while retaining a fluid and easy mood. Included are a newly renovated deck restaurant, an all-day adjoining casual cafe and a takeaway kiosk for picnics on the beach.

I have eaten here on 3 different occasions. I must say the view & venue is amazing. But its a shame the service was terrible. I had to wait 45 mins just for my pancakes for breakfast, which were cold. On another time came for lunch. I had the squid, which was undercooked & a fly in my caramel sauce. The other time two staff members were arguing in the restaurant, I ordered the meatball & spinach gnocchi & I had a sharde of plastic in my meal. I don't really ask for too much when I eat out. I think after 3 experiences I will not come back. review 09/03/2012

My wife and I got married here and it was not only a great night then but it was also the start of our wonderful relationship. Now, Byron Beach Café is our favourite restaurant in Australia. We come back every year and always find the food is still awesome and the staff are super friendly but besides all that I challenge you to find a place with better views. review 20/06/2011

Wow! What an amazing view. Don't think you get this sort of view anywhere anymore in Byron while enjoying lunch. What a dining experience, not only was the food incredible, but the staff are probably the most friendliest I've encountered. Sydney you could learn a thing or two! Don't leave Byron without visiting this gorgeous spot. review 17/05/2011
