Restaurant Como

Just ate tonight at Restaurant Como. The most fantastic dining experience. The degustation menu was superb. The food - its delicate balance of flavours and textures and produce was second-to-none. Chef Grant and his lovely wife Rachaehave created a place of perfect food and perfect service and complete harmony to those who dine there. Although busy, it was personal and intimate and every need was met even before it was asked for, or in a lot of cases, before it was thought off. Truly a magical and memorable experience. The care and attention to detail from the kitchen to those on the floor was incredible. No stone unturned in this place. Nothing was too difficult, no request was too hard to adapt and cater to! We all left feeling blissfully happy and joyous at the amazing meal we had experienced. Each mouthful of food was so great- no words could truly be worthy of its brilliance. It's the place to go. The food to eat. The whole experience so worthy. Great food. Great wine and knowledgeable staff who provide perfect attentive and informative service. And a chef who with each morsel delights and conjures pure joy in the mouth. What more is there to say? Not to be missed! 05/11/2011
