FOOD & BEVERAGE
Taste of Himalaya specialises in Nepalese and a fusion of international cuisines prepared by head chef Surya Maharjan. Dishes will entice and please even the most discerning diner with a fine selection of authentic Nepalese staples. Dine on the likes of momo for entrée – traditional dumplings in both chicken and vegetable varieties, served with sesame and homemade tomato chutney. For main course opt for newari khozza – a combination of char-grilled beef and pork lentil patties, black eye pea and spicy mixed vegetable salad or the flavoursome khasi ko masu – goat curry with green bean masala, pulao rice and spicy tomato chutney. The menu includes influences from a large variety of cooking styles and cuisines, aptly reflecting the diversity and myriad of flavours found in the Himalayas. The dessert menu includes traditional options such as chocolate mud cake and tiramisu alongside more exotic dishes such as carrot haluwa – a traditional Himalayan carrot pudding with mixed nuts, fresh kiwi and whipped cream.
