DETAILSLake George Winery is situated approximately 30 minutes from Canberra at Lake George Wines off the Federal Highway. Designed on two levels, the restaurant is a modern and stylish purpose built venue. With recycled timber floors, a large veranda with outdoor setting, and sleek fashionable furnishings, it can accommodate events for up to 150 guests for a sit down lunch or dinner, and 130 guests with a dance floor. It can cater up to 300 for a cocktail style reception. The venue also contains an extensive cellar with a private dining room and tasting area. The cellar, a room which is intimate and atmospheric, can accommodate up to 120 seated and visitors, should they so desire, can organise a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard.
