Event Description:
It is time to put your culinary skills to the test at Taste of Sydney where you can navigate and create your own degustation menu. The teams of Sydney’s best restaurants will line Centennial Park as foodies walk between the stalls choosing which dishes will make their lunch menu. Gourmet Traveller has named the event “the Big Day Out of the dining world”, and with so many highly regarded names, this will be one especially tasty food extravaganza.
Your experience will be limited only by your appetite, so treat the day like a true degustation by working your way up from something light such, before the more heartier and robust dishes. Have fun playing sommelier and choosing a great wine to match with each of you meals at the wine tastings, before sorting out a delicious dessert to end the day.
While working up your appetite again, join the Chef’s Table to have an informal chat over wine and canapés with personalities and learn how your lunch was made at the Taste Kitchen. Stroll over to the Producer’s Market to snatch up some inspirational pantry items and when your energy is running a little low but your enthusiasm is still high, take a journey through the world of coffee with Nespresso’s masterclass.
Entry to the festival is $30 on the door for adults or $25 if you pre-book online while children between 6 and 15 years are $15 on the door or $12 online.
