Event Description:
The Taste of the Tamar celebrates food and wine produced in the Tamar Valley region, bringing together products from more than 20 wine producers and 10 food producers. Visitors can sample, buy and meet the wonderful makers and producers of fine local produce face to face under the one roof. Taste of the Tamar promotes not only the Tamar Valley as a holiday destination but reminds locals of the fabulous wines, cellar doors and quality producers on their doorstep”.

Wine & food lovers are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance and go in the draw to win two free entries to a Masterclass at the venue of their choice (The winners will have their purchase refunded) plus a Plumm glass decanter (total retail value $300). They can take advantage of thetwo day format to make it a ‘weekend away’ and can book accommodation and other activities through the same site.

Visitors will be able to sample wines from a range of producers including, Jansz, Goaty Hill, Josef Chromy, Delamere, Grey Sands, Moores Hill, Brook Eden, Providence, Bay of Fires, Tamar Ridge and Humbug Reach to name a few.
There will be a range of delicious foods to sample from Yondover Farm House Cheese, Watsons Fine Food, Coronea Olive Groves, Tasmanian Gourmet Sauces ,Rocky Gardens, Delicacy, Classic BFS and others.

The entry fee includes a souvenir tasting glass and booklet for own tasting notes. Visitors are encouraged to wander through the venue at their leisure, sampling and purchasing from stallholders as they go.
