Event Description:
Riverlife, are running Friday and Saturday night Brisbane River Kayaking experiences. Take a leisurely one and a half hour guided paddle down the river as evening settles on the Brisbane city skyline before heading back to the riverfront deck at Kangaroo Point to get stuck into platters of grilled king prawns and glasses of the good stuff.
On Friday nights, thirsty paddlers can refresh themselves with slugs of Hahn Super Dry and platters of fresh prawns from Samies Girl in Hamilton. Saturday nights cater to lovers of the grape, with the kayaking jaunt followed by a tasting of Barambah Wines and finger food. The kayaking kicks off at 7pm both Friday and Saturday nights, with a return to Riverlife by 8.30pm to begin the festivities. Bookings cost $59 and are essential, as places are limited. Participants must be over 18 years of age.
