Just because Buckingham Palace is a little out of reach doesn’t mean you can’t have a perfectly royal-esque brunch. Patisse – the French patisserie famous for some of Sydney’s most divine pastry, cakes and chocolates – has decided to dabble in the world of high tea. And how pleased we are about that! Engaging the artistic spaces of the pyd building in Sydney’s newest design and arts precinct, Waterloo, Patisse’s “The Art of High Tea” colours the traditional brunch experience with a stylish new twist.

And with a tantalising and inventive selection of high tea treats ranging from afternoon tea sandwiches to boutique tarts and pies, sweet tartlets, cakes, meringues and original offerings like a shot glass of buttermilk pannacotta passionfruit jelly, Her Majesty would no doubt give her nod of approval. And, of course, no high tea would be complete without the queen’s token beverage, so every guest is treated to an assortment of T2 teas. Caffeine heads have also been catered to with Vittoria coffee selections.
