Event Description:
The cellar doors of the Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show will be opened to 600 members of the general public who will have the chance to taste their way around more than 2200 Australian wines at this special cellar tasting event.
Included in the line-up will be the newly-awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal and Trophy winning wines – recently judged by a panel of experts lead by one of Australia’s wine greats and Sydney Royal Wine Show Chairman of Judges Iain Riggs.
A complimentary wine tutorial will allow guests to learn how to taste wine like an expert and gain an insight into the judging system, new varietals and trends.
Guests will also have the opportunity to sample a selection of medal winning gourmet products from the Sydney Royal Fine Food and Cheese and Dairy Produce Shows.
New on the Cellar Tasting agenda in 2012 will be an exclusive food and wine matching lunch, hosted by Sydney Royal Wine Show Committee Chair Lyndey Milan. Tickets are limited to this exciting new element and are available for purchase when guests book their Cellar Tasting tickets online.
