Prepare your belly for a rumbling as New Sydney Hotel hosts a night of stand-up comedy. The Big Laughs in the Little Pub event which takes place once a month at the New Sydney Hotel in Hobart, will be treating guests to the lighter side of life with a line up of established local and interstate comedians as well as a number of fresh faces, on Wednesday, 30 September 2009. On this evening the sounds of laughter will also be accompanied by frothy glasses of beer, refined glasses of wine and a spirit or two.
Your appetite won’t be left unfulfilled either, with a terrific pub menu available for the sampling. Ranging from finger foods like spicy calamari, wedges and vegetarian spring rolls to light meals like garlic pizza and lasagne, more substantial dishes like a seafood platter, steaks, beef and chicken schnitzels and pastas, as well as a range of healthy salads there will be something for everyone. The Big Laughs in the Little Pub will take place at the New Sydney Hotel from 8:30pm. Entry to the event is free and food ranges from $7 to $22. For more information call (03) 6231 0358.
