Celebrate Autumn at the Canberra District Wine Harvest Festival

04/04/2012 - Celebrate autumn in the vineyards surrounded by the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of harvest at the Canberra District Wine Harvest Festival. On 14 and 15 April, engage your senses with special wine tastings or talks from the winemakers. Join a tour, watch wine making demonstrations, enjoy live music and challenge your tastebuds with food and wine matching. There are over 24 cellar doors and cafes to choose from, so spend a day or more exploring the local region.

Check out Bellabar (Rydges Lakeside) which is a new classy venue with plenty of small intimate spaces as well as open lounge areas. Internationally acclaimed cocktail guru Jared Thibault is one of the most impressive mixologists on the scene today. He has designed a cocktail menu that marries vintage delights with seductive new combinations.
