More Stars, More Chefs and More Events Than Ever Before!

03/03/2012 - Stars of Stars Opening Cocktail Party - Tuesday 6 March from 6.30pm in Melbourne.

On Tuesday 6 March, Crown will launch its fourth and largest instalment of Crown’s ‘Stars’ series, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

Crown welcomes a Michelin star-studded line-up of 8 international chefs including; Italy’s triple Michelin Star chef, Luisa Valazza, four of France’s best chefs including double Michelin Star chef, Thierry Marx, two Michelin Star chef, Serge Vieira, the ‘Prince of Pastry,’ Stephane Bour and Jacques Marcon from three Michelin Star Restaurant Regis and Jacques Marcon, double Michelin Star chef, Sang-Hoon Degeimbre from Belgium’s renowned L’Air Du Temps, acclaimed Tokyo triple Michelin Star chef, Jun Yukimura and one Michelin Star-rated Shang Palace’s chef Mok Kit Keung from Hong Kong.

Breezes restaurant will be transformed into a food lovers’ haven as five of Crown’s ‘Stars of Stars’ chefscreate their signature dishes, giving guests the chance to taste their way around the globe.

About Crown’s Stars of Stars Program:
Crown’s Stars of Stars chefs will each take on an in-house position at four of Crown’s premium restaurants from Tuesday 6 March through to Sunday 18 March. All 8 chefs hold a Michelin star or have worked for a Michelin starred restaurant, making them an elite group of international chefs.
Crown’s Stars of Stars program will encompass the Gala Dinner, 7 wine dinners, 7 star cooking classes
and two weeks of feature menus at 4 of Crown’s premium restaurants.
