My partner is a pizza freako. He will travel the length of Perth to eat his favourite. None of this soggy home delivery stuff. His favourite spot is Ciao Italia in South Perth for the vegetarian. The children love the Calzones. Mine favourite is a little further South in Margaret River - Goodfellas - Oh my god im drooling thinking about it. The pizza is a dill and lemon base with ricotta, smoked salmon, kalmarta olives, dill, black cracked pepper and lemon zest. It is unbeliveable. When visiting we buy one on the way in to town and then another on the way out of town. The combinations is so well balanced

My pizza experience has been worldwide and you get such a great selection, from the minimalist tomato & cheese pizza of italy, how do they make it taste so good with nothin on it!! To the weird and wonderful banana pizzas of Amsterdam, you have to taste to believe. Then you have the wonderful pizzas of Dublin, where it was like eating a meal on a pizza, my thai chicken had noodles to boot and the nachos was packed high with guacamole, sour creme, salsa and of course the chips. I love variety, but have yet to find these deliciously diverse variations in Australia.

My husband always laughs at me when I order pizza as I like a vegetarian pizza with salami! I'm not vegetarian, I just like the combination of toppings, this with the addition of salami is just yummy!

LESS IS MORE should be the rule for pizza...the most delicious pizza I ever tasted was in Rome...a thin sour dough bread base, a thin layer of homemade neapolitan tomato sauce seasoned with fresh basil, topped with buffalo mozzarella, cooked in a wood-fired oven e Pronto! Buonissima!!!!!
